Spring Break!

We had an awesome time visiting beautiful Colorado over spring break.  Below are a few favorites from our trip!

1. Finner on my favorite bench!  We make a point to visit this special spot every time we visit.  I spent a lot of time at this little bench, overlooking Boulder in college. I said a lot of prayers at this spot and said "Yes" to the most important question ever, when Barrett proposed there.  Needless to say, this spot holds a very special place in our hearts.  I can only imagine that someday when Finn is a Buff, he'll woo some cute little lady there...look out Jaden!

2. YAY YAY YAY! Ok, these 2 weren't in Boulder but I got the best phone call ever Sunday morning when Tanea called to share the exciting engagement news!!! Thrilled does not even begin to describe our excitement!

3. It's Spring break for the Stoks', so naturally that translates to blizzard!  Yep, that's right, Colorado welcomed us with two extra hours of fly/land time Friday night and about 10 inches of new snow Saturday morning.  So beautiful, but next year we think we might try a beach :)

4. Seriously, these two!  Parker and Finn, just throwing a few back.  Poppleton's why do we not live closer?

5. Finn and I spent some quality time exploring all my favorite spots on Tuesday morning after Bear flew back home to work.  Gosh I love that boy!

6. Just like the bench, a trip to Boulder wouldn't be complete without breakfast at the Buff.  Finn and I spent the morning with Auntie Julia!

8. Our fabulous hosts!  I think I have a picture similar to this from college.  Since we weren't sitting on a beach getting tan, they decided to catch some rays on the snowy patio.  THANKS A MILLION Lauren and Ryan! We love you guys!

9. Flatirons, oh my gosh! I know Jesus a little better because of this place.  I started going to church at Flatirons in college when it met in the back of an old feed store.  It has since grown.  So lucky to feel connected to a place that truly ministers and loves EVERYONE, just like Jesus!  This is what church should be like. Awesome that you can listen online too...check it out!

11. Breakfast with the Fletes.  We ventured out in all the snow Saturday morning for waffles and OJ.  We LOVE LOVE LOVE spending time with the Fletes! Can't wait until our next visit.

12.  I snapped a picture of this spot in North Boulder as a little inspiration.  When we were asked to visualize and think of where we saw ourselves in 5 years at MTH, I kept coming back to this building in North Boulder.  So I snapped a pic, for a little accountability.

13.  Nap time!  Traveling with a toddler is EXHAUSTING!

14.  Not sure when this started, but Finn now makes a "Cheese Face"  This is it!

15.  Prior to the airplane meltdown.  Yep, we were those people!  Needless to say, Finner did much better on the way home.
