A Loooong Walk

I think we may have finally turned the corner....nicer weather ahead!  We decided to go on a little celebratory walk last night.  We leashed up the boys and strapped Finn into the stroller. About 10 minutes into our walk he wanted to escape the stroller and push it.  So we let him for a little while, but he was insistent on driving/pushing it himself which included veering towards the street a few times.  He was not pleased with our assistance and redirection. 

Eventually we strapped him back into the stroller.  He was pretty cool with this for a little while, except for the fact that he wanted to drop his hat over the side every thirty feet or so.  Meanwhile, Walter was pulling me right along and I'm pretty sure Stan stopped to "water" every blade of grass in all of Golden Valley.  We were quite the scene.  Just as we were about to arrive, Finn made another attempt at an escape ultimately he ended up on Barrett's shoulders which he sort of liked, especially when he got to "high five" the street signs.  And Stan took a break from all his watering and enjoyed a little stroller ride.  

The way back was much better!  THANK GOODNESS for the entertainment that a  cup of ice water and a straw provide.  

That little boy must have been exhausted and a little sweaty because he slept really well and tried to put on my deodorant this morning.
