Seriously...can you say MIDDLE SCHOOL?
Pretty sure that this was a conversation or rather pep-talk from Calli and Ashley about touching my leg.
And who could forget the entertainment of the evening...Johnson (I think you had to be there to understand this one!)
While digging through the archives, I also found this one. It's an email update that I sent to my college bible study after coming home for this weekend.
Here's the mini synopsis..Barrett (that's his name) called me on
Thursday before I left and told me that he would love to pick me up
from the airport on Friday night. He then came with me to a family
friend's birthday party all day Saturday (yes, he's brave and
withstood the ongoing harassment of when he was going to make his move
from my sister and three best friends) We ended up hanging out after
the birthday party and then headed back to Ashley's around
midnight...we decided to go for a walk around one of the lakes in the
area (yes it was the middle of the night) and made it home just in
time to talk until the sun came up! (I kissed him) He then bought me Starbucks and I
spent the rest of the weekend with him, including meeting his family
and hanging out at his new house (not to worry...we were very
innocent!) It's crazy...way out of left field, but I am really
excited! He's SOOOOOOO different than anyone I have ever dated. He
does what he says he's going to, isn't afraid of me and tells me
exactly how he feels. So I'm going to see what happens. He's going
to come and visit me in two weeks, because he said he couldn't wait
the 6 until the next time I'm in Minnesota! He's such a doll :)
That's all for now! I have LOVED hearing your updates!!!!
